It’s been far too long since we’ve wandered around a weekend flea market, spending a lazy Sunday afternoon sorting through troves of treasure and vintage finds. For this Easter long weekend, from April 14 to 17, antique shop The Retro Factory will finally be holding their Katong Square Lifestyle & Vintage Market once again. It’s a market by collectors for collectors, so if you’re looking for a diamond in the rough, this is the spot.
Vinyl records, prized antiques, and handcrafted knick-knacks – you’ll find them all here. It’s a treasure trove of unique finds, that’s for sure. There’s also a lineup of live DJs, featuring DJ Aceman, DJ Dom, DJ Titus, and DJ Rico.
While this used to be a monthly weekend flea market, it hasn’t been around since the pandemic. We’re still playing it safe though: it’s a mask-on indoor event that’s limited to less than 1,000 people. Visit them at Katong Square – they’ve got plenty of underground parking and nearby bus access.
