Time Out says

Korean mart and food hall Market Blue is the perfect stop for those seeking a short escape to South Korea without leaving Singapore. And there's about to be more reason to head down, as their highly-raved Korean Bakery Pop-Up is having its final hoorah from September 14 to 21– after a couple of extensions since its initial appearance in August. As before, two famous bakeries from Daegu will be setting up shop at the Tanglin Mall atrium with an impressive spread of over 55 bakes and pastries, including new never-before-seen creations.

The first bakery is Bakery 1946 (also known as Suhyeongdang), which has made a splash with its K-Apple Bread. It looks like an apple, is wrapped in foam and packed in a carton like an apple, but break it apart and you'll find oodles of cream cheese and apple jam. In the same vein, they'll also be debuting a brand new potato bread which also looks just like the real thing.

Other buns that will make you do a double take include realistic-looking sweet potato bread with sweet potato filling, chewy garlic-flavoured bread shaped like a garlic clove, and adorable chestnut bun filled with chestnut paste.

Meanwhile, St. Geundae Bakery (or Geundae Golmok Danpatppang) has been capturing hearts with its fluffy red bean bread. For many Koreans, red bean bread dipped in milk is a common childhood treat. But anyone can enjoy these buns, which are stuffed with sweet red bean layered with flavoured whipped cream like vanilla, strawberry, and green tea.

Market Blue is flying down Korean bakers from Bakery 1946 and St. Geundae Bakery specially for this event, so you know you'll be getting fresh bakes made as close to the original back in Daegu. Try it yourself this at the Korean Bakery Pop-Up, held at Tanglin Mall's B1 Atrium.
