It’s officially the season of giving. And what if we told you that you could give back to the community while indulging in all of your favourite things? The Social Space is hosting a two-day fundraising event that lets you explore the Kreta Ayer neighbourhood with a fun, festive twist.
Pick up a Neighbourhood Map Passport and start exploring the quaint stretch tucked in between Chinatown and Outram Park, where you can discover and café hop over 25 participating eateries, community spaces and heritage spots. Savour Chinese tea at Tea Chapter, get a fresh fade at Big Bad Wolf and The British Barbers, or treat yourself to a mani-pedi at The Nail Social. Otherwise, grab some last-minute gifts as local brands like The Every Club and Papercranes set up shop to offer festive goods.
To add to the Christmas cheer, there will be a hot chocolate stand serving velvety, rich cuppas for you to enjoy. You can also use the Passports to collect limited-edition stickers designed by artists in the neighbourhood.
The weekend event is in support of 60 Lights, One Future, a Singapore Red Cross Young Hearts Programme campaign that benefits 60 underprivileged children with a full year of education, mentorship and care.
