Since you can't fly to France just yet, you can experience the crème de la crème of French dining at Alliance Française de Singapour – well, sort of. The La Table Dans Tous Ses États (The Table in All Its States) exhibition showcases the rare displays of menus of meals served in aircrafts and cruise ships, as well as actual menus of official dinners hosted for several Heads of State from all across Southeast Asia. These dinners have created many historical moments that connected France to the region.
Keep your eyes peeled for the full menu, wine list and even the playlist of the official dinner hosted by French President François Hollande for the former President of Singapore Dr Tony Tan in 2015, as well as a dinner table right out of Élysée Palace.
