Labour Block Art Market

Singaporean independent creatives take centre stage at Labour Block Art Market. This weekend affair marks its second edition since it started in 2025 and is part of *SCAPE’s youth-led arts festival COMMA. The two-day event is described as an “open studio event and marketplace” that features artists, collectives and brands of different disciplines and backgrounds to come together to share, support and exchange ideas with one another. It’s a space meant to foster community and map out new ways to thrive creatively and more sustainably. Featuring over 50 newcomers and experienced artists, this year’s lineup of participating practitioners is looking more stacked than ever, and also introduces creators from neighbouring countries Malaysia and Indonesia. Join in on discussions and workshops, or shop around for zines, handmade pottery, merch and other unique knick-knacks.
