Three words: swap, stitch, share. This curated thrift pop-up by GREEN-HOUSE and Temasek Shophouse invites you to give clothes a second life, but it goes beyond just browsing racks of preloved finds. Instead, you can bring your old gems and donate them to Cloop’s Open Wardrobe, or exchange them with others for free. There’s also a mending and upcycling station where you can refashion your secondhand goods into something totally brand-new. You’ll learn basic sewing skills through a hands-on workshop guided by Sew Crazy, Biek & Commenhers.
Unwanted fabric? No such thing here. Drop by the creative booth to craft your own portrait with leftover textiles and be part of a meaningful movement that’s taken over Southeast Asia. The Art Of Everyone, a community-driven upcycling mural project by Fashion Parade, was originally unveiled at Singapore Art Week 2024. The interactive art has since grown with more than 1,200 portraits contributed so far.
The event is held in partnership with Fashion Revolution SG as part of Circular Fashion Week, organised by The Fashion Pulpit, an initiative that aims to spotlight more mindful habits in fashion and shopping. Be sure to register in advance here to secure a spot at the event.
