Start the new year with a good, healthy dose of art at The Necessary Stage's (TNS) annual arts festival, which returns with the theme of 'Art and the Animal'. Highlights include Malay performance The Chronicles of One and Zero – Kancil by new local collective Zeugma, UK artist Andrea Cavallari's installation entitled 'Arnia' – which was created by bees – and a two-day workshop called Devising Masterclass, where TNS' artistic director Alvin Tan and resident playwright Haresh Sharma teache participants how to create convincing characters.
