To sustain local merchants, Orchard Road and the Singapore River have banded together to provide discounts and promotions.
From March 20 to 22, the iconic ice cream uncles of Orchard Road are giving out free ice cream sandwiches from noon. A total of six of them are giving away 400 sandwiches each at the following locations:
- - Uncle Tan, outside ION Orchard
- - Uncle Chan, outside Wisma Atria
- - Uncle Ong, outside Ngee Ann City
- - Uncle Chieng, outside Ngee Ann City
- - Uncle Ang, near Mandarin Gallery
- - Uncle Chan, near Tong Building
Restaurants, shopping malls and hotels are offering deals during this period such as one-for-one promotions at Mandarin Orchard’s Triple Three buffet and Tanuki Raw. Over at the Singapore River, the Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay has staycation packages from $178 while Sabaai Sabaai is providing one-for-one massages. Check out the full list of promotions here.
