Time Out says

Light up your Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens by the Bay, where nine dazzling lantern sets and community displays have been spread out across the outdoor gardens and Flower Dome. The celebrations were launched with a bang on September 15, which saw 70 lanterns from the Sky Lanterns set float up the Supertrees at the Gardens' main entrance to symbolise the theme of this year's festival – blessings.

From now till October 3, catch some highlights: including Sky Lanterns and Rabbits Trail at the main entrance of the gardens. This is a series of eight rabbit-shaped lanterns leading the way to the Flower Dome, where you'll find more lantern displays. Meet Miffy and friends at Miffy Gardens in the Dome, see the Chinese folk game-inspired Rabbit's Forest, and admire a vivid and colourful display too.

Community groups have pitched in with some stunning displays as well. Some not to miss: Origami Crane Trees features 2,000 colourful paper cranes folded and penned with words of blessings by individuals from social services agencies and Gardens by the Bay volunteers. Colonnade of Lights at the Supertree Grove showcases 1,000 gorgeous paper lanterns painstaking painted by people from 28 social services agencies. Over 50 schools and community agencies have also embarked on an upcycling effort, turning used plastic bottles into an installation at the Active Garden.

Craving for more? Catch exciting cultural performances put up by six performing arts groups supported by the National Arts Council. Held at the Flower Field Hall, the likes of PB&J, Singapore's only indie crossover band; A Bigger Bang – The Percussion Assembly; and Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre will wow you with live song and dance, which will also be streamed on the Gardens by the Bay Facebook page. Head down to Supertree Grove to watch Tales of the Moon too, a popular and free Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.
