Ever wondered what it’s like to step foot onto the pitch at the Singapore National Stadium? Well, now you can for real. Make like your favourite athletes as the arena opens its doors to the public for the National Stadium Experience. The month-long programme lets you run, sweat and play on the very same field that has hosted various major international tournaments, including the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and the recent HSBC SVNS. There’s a slew of action-packed activities on the agenda, so come along with your family for workout sessions on tchoukball, rugby, yoga and HIIT. And as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations this February, you can also look forward to lively lion dance performances.
If sports is not your thing, don’t worry, because the stadium is also home to concerts, lest we forget. On selected days, get treated to a karaoke session along with a three-minute light and sound display. Sing your heart out to a playlist of viral hits, from NSYNC to K-pop Demon Hunters, while the stadium roof explodes into a burst of colours.
Check out its website for the full list of events and activities.
