Craft and nature are at the centre of this weekend pop-up held at Journey East’s showroom. For its third iteration, Notes From Nature will have several local curators and artisans coming together to show off their nature-inspired creations to encourage a more intentional lifestyle.
Naturally (no pun intended), you can expect a lush lineup of plants to bring home. Grow your garden with adorable sprouts from Little Botany, or explore speciality plants like striking succulents and sculptural species from Dryspell Garden. Then pair your new greenery with IN M. RES’s oddly shaped terracotta planters. Meanwhile, Project Coal offers naturally dyed textiles and art. Its collection of bags, homeware and other woven items uses botanical extracts and pigments to create rare and unique pieces.
Beyond the handicrafts and potted goods, there’s also a small spread of culinary treats. Dig into a plant-based menu and cool down the afternoon heat with a range of herbal concoctions and juices, including jamu shots and sparkling kombucha. For a little pick-me-up, there’s also freshly brewed coffee and matcha slushies to enjoy.
