If you’re thinking what to do to keep your kids entertained this March school holidays, the Singapore Oceanarium has got you covered. Its first-ever Ocean Kids Festival invites marine enthusiasts of all ages to discover the deep blue through interactive workshops and guided programmes.
One of the main highlights is the Little Ocean Expert Series, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour for children to meet with marine life professionals, which includes conservationists, researchers, veterinarians, and even divers. Here’s your chance to learn more about their roles and be introduced to their everyday work routines and equipment. At the end of the 45-minute session, kids also get a special photo op moment where they can dress up in Singapore Oceanarium uniforms, lab coats and dive suits.
But the family fun doesn’t end there. Gather the little ones and grab a seat at the Open Ocean zone to enjoy performances by the Singapore Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, or drop by the Research and Learning Centre together for free ocean-themed craft activities and storytelling sessions.
