Time Out says

Peace Centre is on its way to being demolished and there's no better way to send it off than with a mega party. Organised by Bring the Roof Down, an initiative dedicated to reviving iconic spaces in Singapore, the PeaceOut Festival promises an explosion of music, art, and culture.

It's a fitting last hurrah for the beloved stalwart on 1 Sophia Road. This pioneer mall started as a hub for tuition centres, printing shops, tailors, and more. Over the years, Peace Centre has gained a reputation as a dingy (even seedy) mall, fading into the background as newer and shinier malls sprouted up. But in its dying days, Peace Centre has become a playground for vintage shops, thrift stores, and grassroots movements like PlayPan, which has turned the abandoned mall into a place of creative expression.

PeaceOut Festival embodies this spirit with a diverse line-up of music, performances, and a festival flea market. 16 DJs will fill the corridors with electrifying beats – think techno, house, afrobeat, desi music, and more. A sneak peek of the line-up: DJ Nadd, Ollie'des, Prodigi (Australia), and Demi Riquísimo (UK). The LGBTQIA+ community also gets their time in the spotlight, represented by renowned queens Angele Anang and Zepee from the House of Heals Bangkok, with more vibrant experiences by Unleash in store.

Early bird tickets for PeaceOut Festival are now sold out; general admissions tickets are on sale for $58. Get your tickets and stay updated on festival activities at Bring the Roof Down's Instagram page
