If you think these mega-sized Pop Mart Disney mall installations look a tad familiar, you’re not wrong; The previous Pop Mart Disney Christmas displays scattered across various CapitaLand Malls in Singapore have gotten a new lease of life for the upcoming Chinese New Year season.
While the larger-than-life character set-ups modelled after various Pop Mart Disney collectible figurine series remain, all the shiny festive baubles, giant gift boxes, and Christmas trees have been traded out for auspicious motifs like cherry blossoms, lanterns, and oriental fans.
The vibrant installations featuring Mickey and Friends, Disney Princesses, and other beloved Disney characters like Stitch and Bambi can be found at the following locations:

- Bedok Mall: Prince Mickey
- Bugis Junction: Tinker Bell
- Bugis+: Bambi
- Bukit Panjang Plaza: Snow White
- CQ @ Clarke Quay: Donald Duck
- Funan: Stitch

There will also be an animated light show, titled Dance of the Dragon, which will be running at Funan’s Level 1 Atrium from January 18 to February 4, 10am to 10pm, and at CQ @ Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square from February 7 to 24, 12pm to 3am. One could consider it modern iterartion of the traditional Chinese dragon dance; be captivated as you watch an intricate eight-metre sculpted dragon light up and move gracefully along to the accompanying music to usher in the new year. The show will be held every 30 minutes and entry is free.
