What a time for toy collectors to be alive – especially so for fans of POP MART and its various character franchises. Teaming up with homegrown collectible retailer ActionCity, the cult toy company is bringing their famous POP TOY SHOW to Singapore this September 2023 – the first-ever POP MART exhibition held outside of China. This follows ActionCity’s recent WOOD MORNING SINGAPORE pop-up, which featured familiar favourites like Pinnocchio and Groot with a naughty little twist.
This 3-day-only mega toy event at Marina Bay Sands will be a treasure trove of all your favourite character collectibles. Latest launches aside, you'll also be able to get your figurine fix with limited edition event-exclusives, rare models, and other cute and colourful POP MART-themed merch. These range from both blister packs to mega-sized figurines, with some examples being a Labubu Hedgehog Figure, Dimoo Fairy Fox, and the Japanese-inspired MOLLY X Mika Ninagawa Summer Butterfly Limited Edition 100% figurine.
On top of that, visitors can also look forward to items from other popular brands such as tokidoki and XM Studios. Anime-lovers in particular will be delighted by the selection of Bandai merchandise available.
Curious about the creative minds behind your favourite characters like Pucky and Skullpanda? Jump on the chance to meet and chat with the POP MART toy designers who are flying down as special guests for the event. Some names include Ayan Deng, Kenny Wong, and Lang – the artists of Dimoo, Molly, and Hirono respectively. Other local and international toy artists like Jon-Paul Kaiser, Alex Solis of oddworx, and Eric Chew of Chewthulu will also be gracing us with their presence.
