Nothing like a pack of zombies to get you pedalling like your life depends on it. And you can put your feet to the test at this run, which pits participants against the walking running dead. Last year’s Race the Dead gamed things up, too: each survivor of this fictional apocalypse was issued a flag that they had to attach to a provided vest. Lose the flag to a flesh-eater – fellow participants who signed up to play the undead – along the five-kilometre route and the gig’s up. You’re dead. (Okay, you just don’t get a ‘survivor’s badge’.)
