The second edition of Reinvention returns for four months of endless play and design at Singapore Science Park. This year’s theme stems from the idea that if a space is thoughtfully designed, then it can encourage movement and creativity and bring people together.
But Allplay is more than just your typical playground with slides and swings. It’s a creative playground featuring installations, interactive challenges and activities by more than 30 artists and designers that reimagines what play can look like. Not just as a form of entertainment, but as a way to inspire learning, change and positive action.
There are three family-friendly zones to explore. At PlayLab, there are a series of self-guided exhibits organised around five themes: Think, Make, Move, Experience and Connect. Meanwhile, over at PlayMission, there are physical and digital challenges that let you turn everyday actions into positive environmental impact. Elsewhere, PlayCourt turns its outdoor space into an ever-changing playscape, featuring unique takes on familiar sports like basketball, football and soccer.
There’s also a reason to keep coming back: the programme will be refreshed regularly throughout its run with new workshops and collaborations. Be sure to check its website for updates on the latest lineup here.
