Remember when movies imagined a future run by robots and AI? Well, turns out that future has already arrived – thankfully, without the whole I, Robot drama (at least, we think). Held at Science Centre Singapore, RoboFest 2026: Meet Tomorrow, Today lets you get up close and personal with the machines and technology that are reshaping how we now live, work and think.
But the four-day event isn’t just about gaining an understanding of a tech-driven world; it’s an examination of what it means to stay fully human in a rapidly advancing environment. Is there truly a future where humans and robots can complement each other? These questions are explored through a series of hands-on experiences, including kid-friendly workshops and demonstrations, spread across four zones.
Each zone takes you through different types of emerging technology while also allowing you to reflect on them. Some highlights include a Robot Dog firefighting challenge, a comedy sketch about robot colleagues, and the RoboCup tournament. Don’t forget to check out the Centre’s new exhibition on AI and robotics, which features guided experiences on drone coding and communicating with AI systems.
