Rum has been living under the shadow of whisky and gin for far too long. The underrated spirit is finally getting the spotlight it deserves at Rum Bellion, a day-long festival dedicated to the stuff. Neon Pigeon, Bula Café and Bar, Taki Taki, and Lime House are being taken over by rum brands from around the world. And that’s just the beginning.
The counters of Neon Pigeon play host to guest shifts from international bars like The Sea by The Old Man in Hong Kong, BlackTail from New York, and Dirty Dick from Paris and masterclasses are held at the Bula Café. The streets of Keong Saik Road also make way for more festivities: expect a pop-up market, on-site tattoo artist, and food from Fat Prince, Fung Kee Hotdogs, Lime House and Flat Stanley Bali.
