Come roll up with your gang to SANTAi for its birthday celebrations this Sunday. As it turns two, the cosy cocktail bar along East Coast Road is throwing a party with the help of some friends. All day long, look forward to music, coffee, desserts and a lineup of exciting activities. Kick it off with dairy-free brews from Kopistan and pair it with mouth-watering bakes from Mother Dough Bakery. Sift through the pop-up marketplace to discover precious treasures like small-batch ceramics, naturally-dyed textile pieces, and SANTAi-exclusive t-shirts from various homegrown brands. Pulima, an atelier and select store from Hong Kong, is also setting up shop at the party to offer books, prints and a plethora of indigenous and folk art.
Aside from the shopping and snacking, don’t miss out on the DIY workshops, either. Learn the basics of incense-making techniques and craft your own incense sticks, cones and stamps with plant-based fragrances. Otherwise, discover the joy of mouth harping. The hour-long tutorial introduces you to the tiny stringed instrument, followed by a jam session where you can freestyle solo or improvise with others. For the workshops, registration is required, which you can do so here.
