Orchard Road Fashion Week
The inaugural Orchard Road Fashion Week is here. Taking over SCAPE for five days, the showcase brings together more than 40 independent labels from Singapore and around the world, with designers from as far as Sweden and South Africa. Look forward to 25 solo and group presentations across six categories, from future designers and emerging brands to labels that put sustainability at the forefront of their work. Some of the brand highlights include Singapore’s Keya Studio, Malaysia’s Red Bean, Milkwear from the Philippines, and the ever-popular Thinga Majigs. Global design favourite Marimekko will also be walking down the runway to show off its latest collection. The week concludes with a showcase by local fashion designer KINGAMIR, whose collection features contemporary takes on traditional garments with sleek, modern silhouettes.
The event is organised by the viral local street style page Orchard Road Fashion, best known for its paparazzi-style documentation of Singapore’s best-dressed. Over the years, it has captured hundreds of ’fits along the famous shopping belt, as well as at events like Lady Gaga’s concert and BLACKPINK’s Deadline Tour in Singapore.
