Siah Armajani: Spaces for the Public. Spaces for Democracy.

Inspired by democratic ideals and American vernacular architecture, this Iranian-born artist's sculptures, drawings and public installations dwell on principles like 'nobility of usefulness' and 'art on a civic scale'.
