Singapore Archifest returns to shake up the way we see architecture. Running from now till July 25, the 19th edition invites everyone – not just architects – to explore how design shapes our lives, with a spotlight on the Katong–Joo Chiat precinct. Swing by ArchiHouse, a retrofitted shophouse and public festival hub packed with thought-provoking exhibitions and hands-on workshops, including free crochet sessions on July 26 and August 2 with actor Edwin Goh. Keep your eyes peeled for a trail of semi-permanent public installations popping up across the neighbourhood too, like the striking ArchiPavilion at Roxy Square.
