Every year, people from all walks of life gather in the name of books in the heart of Singapore at a fair that saw almost 6,000 visitors over the span of just one weekend in its 2022 edition. Organised by Thing Books, a local bookshop specialising in artist books, zines and independently-produced printed matter, the Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) celebrates art books as a medium, bringing in vendors from multiple countries showcasing contemporary art books and zines annually. Not new to its game, SGABF has been running since 2013 and was the first of its kind in Southeast Asia during that time. Till date, it has earned itself the name as one of the many leading art book fairs in Asia.
Find publishers, artists, zine and printmakers, illustrators, distributors, small presses, galleries, institutions, and many more.
