Time Out says

Turn up for a weekend of passion at Singapore Flamenco Festival, featuring intense dance performances from local groups and international guests, and a day-long F&B event where food, dance, and art collide.

The Esplanade Recital Studio will be heating up with Reflections of Time: Triple Bill and The Golden Age of Flamenco. The first event is fronted by the Flamenco Sin Fronteras company, presenting three narratives that dance around life and death, convergence of cultures, and the meaning of time (inspired by TS Elliot's Burnt Norton). For an introduction to the history of flamenco, turn up for The Golden Age of Flamenco, featuring flamenco maestros from Spain: Luis de Luis, Claudia la Debla, Miguel Lavi, and David Caro.

Open Farm Community will also be throwing a flamenco-inspired shebang on October 15. Viva La Fiesta! will see the garden restaurant transported into a hotspot for all things Spanish. Watch a giant paella cooking demo, a sustainable flamenco fashion show, cajon and dance workshops, and exciting dance performances, including a special show by the dance company Royalusion. Tickets cost $98 for the four-hour event, which includes a dinner and one drink.
