Time Out says

Remember Good Morning, Sir!, Star Search and The Legend of Ji-Gong? If the answer is yes, then get ready to relive your favourite local Chinese dramas with Singapore TV: From Local to Global. This latest exhibition presented by Mediacorp and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre charts the evolution of Singapore Chinese television from the 1960s to today.

The showcase is equal parts a trip down memory lane and a riveting behind-the-scenes look at some of Singapore’s most beloved productions. Expect hundreds of original costumes, props, photographs, scripts, awards and memorabilia as you explore the different eras of Chinese TV in Singapore. There are also immersive installations that let you recreate memorable moments and sets from shows such as The Golden Pillow, The Unbeatables and The Return of the Condor Heroes. Along the way, you can also try your hand at dubbing a scene, take pics against a backdrop inspired by 1984’s The Awakening, and discover how scripts are developed and brought to life by the actors on screen. Don’t forget to leave your mark at the interactive voting wall at the end of the exhibition, where you can share your hopes for the future of Singapore’s Chinese-language productions.
