With more than 300 programmes spread across ten days, the Singapore Writers Festival returns and this year its circling around the theme of 'Sayang' (Malay for 'love', 'pity' or 'regret') – with stories and writers depicting love and loss through a slew of seminars and workshops. Featured authors include Brit Joanne Harris, whose book Chocolat sold over a million copies, Man Booker-nominated Eka Kurniawan and Chinese novelist A Yi.
