K-pop, but make it orchestra? Yes, please. SM Classics Live reimagines some of K-pop’s most iconic songs from the past 30 years into sweeping symphonic arrangements inspired by the likes of Bach, Beethoven and Debussy. Performed by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, the concert revisits beloved anthems by legendary SM Entertainment bands like 'Rising Sun' by TVXQ, 'Growl' by EXO, 'Sherlock (Clue+Note)' by SHINee and 'Into the New World' by Girls Generation, alongside newer favourites such as aespa’s 'Black Mamba' and NCT Dream’s 'Hello Future'.
As a special highlight, Wendy from Red Velvet will also take to the stage to join the orchestra for a powerhouse performance of her solo tracks. Be treated to grand orchestral renditions of 'Like Water', 'When This Rain Stops', and 'Queen of the Party'.
SM Classics was launched as SM Entertainment’s classical and jazz music label and has since turned into a live global project that has toured all over the world. The production kicked off in 2025 in Seoul, before making stops in Tokyo, Bangkok and Vienna, Austria.
