Time Out says

At the MINT Museum of Toys’ latest pop-up, Stitched with Hope, Driven by Speed, dolls, perfumes, handbags and exclusive motorsport memorabilia come together to explore the stories of remarkable women in history and the changing ideas of femininity.

The exhibition is told through two distinct chapters. In Century-Long Journey of the Modern Woman, antique handcrafted Asian dolls and Barbie favourites are displayed next to designer accessories from Chanel and Hermès, as well as vintage perfume bottles, which include a rare Max Factor Sophisti-CATS bottle. Be sure to look out for dolls inspired by beloved pop culture icons such as Shirley Temple, Betty Boop and Snow White. Meanwhile, Tin 2 Turbo puts the spotlight on eight pioneering women who helped shape the motorsport world. Their achievements are interwoven with a collection of historic racing memorabilia.

There are also a series of programmes inspired by the themes of the exhibition. Learn how to blend your own Shirley Temple, discover a scent bar and craft your own racing car model. Come October, catch a film screening of Steve McQueen’s 1971 movie Le Mans, in anticipation of the F1 Grand Prix race in Singapore.
