Beyond the traditional festive decor, Suntec City takes it one step further this Lunar New Year with its LEGO pop-up event. Not only will there be a dragon dance to usher in the Year of the Dragon, but there’ll also be a special quest titled the “Long Quest for Wisdom” – where you can win a pineapple LEGO build or $10 LEGO voucher.
Bring your entire family down to Suntec City’s Atrium (Tower 1 & 2) where three adventure stations await. First, collect the Quest Pack – if you complete the “Long Quest for Wisdom”, you get to redeem either a pineapple LEGO build or $10 LEGO voucher.
It all starts at the Auspicious Lucky Bubbles station where you’ll try to collect as many lucky bubbles as possible using a LEGO Technic claw. Then, make your way to the Bridge of Rushing Rapids station where you’ll need to put your minds together to build a LEGO bridge for Dan the Dragon to safely cross the river.
The next station, Drum up the Dragon, gets you drumming to the beat to keep Dan the Dragon’s eyes on the prize. There’s also a Lunar Family Wishes station where you can share your wishes for your new year or even draw a picture of your family. Psst – make sure to keep an eye out for hidden gold coins at the diorama displays. Join the bonus “Spot and Win” contest and you’ll stand a chance to win a LEGO build.
Head over to Suntec City’s Atrium (Tower 1 and 2) from now to February 25, since there will be plenty of festive celebrations this Lunar New Year. You can also have fun reading your year’s fortune at the 12 zodiac reading panels at Level 2 near the Authorised Mi Store or meet the LEGO mascot who’ll be distributing specially LEGO designed ang baos. Suntec City will also be having lion dance performances on February 15 at Atrium (Convention Centre) while LEGO’s lion and dragon dance performances will make a striking appearance at Atrium (Tower 1 and 2) on selected weekends – the latter features LEGO oranges and pearls.
