Time Out says

It's time to say goodbye – and see you again – to Temasek Shophouse. The social impact hub is closing its doors this December and reopening only in 2025 after restoration and expansion works into the adjacent shophouses have been completed. To mark its temporary closure, it's inviting everyone down to its farewell party, Lights Out, on its second last day of operations.

The Lights Out programme starts with Beans & Bonds, a coffee-centric talk and workshop led by Foreword Coffee. The local roastery is a social enterprise that employs persons with disabilities, special needs, and mental health conditions in the hopes of empowering these communities. Hear from its co-founder about its practices and enjoy an hour-long coffee appreciation and coffee cupping workshop. There are only 30 slots available – buy your tickets ($20) here

Stick around for the free Lights Out Concert from 3pm to 4.30pm. Your performers for the night are musicians from Temasek Shophouse's Let's Jam initiative, a free-for-all jamming session that welcomes musicians of all ages and abilities. Enjoy the good vibes as these passionate musicians play a slew of feel-good tunes across a variety of genres.
