Bangkok trip got postponed? No problem. Transport yourself to the land of mango sticky rice and Muay Thai as the Thai Festival returns to transform the Royal Thai Embassy in Orchard into what can only be described as a mini Chatuchak Market.
Over three days, more than 100 brands, restaurants and artisans are coming together to bring the sights, sounds and flavours of Thailand to your doorstep. Discover everything from local fashion finds, wellness gems, and handmade crafts to more than enough authentic street food that’ll keep you full all weekend. Expect moo ping skewers, luk chup, rich curries, fiery tom yum and more.
But that’s not all – the festival also comes alive with traditional dance performances and mini T-pop concerts each day. Catch GMMTV’s three-member boy group FLIO, singer Somphol Rungphanit, and multi-talented actor Nanon – best known for roles in The Gifted, Bad Buddy and My Precious – as they hit the stage. There’s also a lavish fashion show on Friday, July 10, where models strut down the runway in traditional Thai royal attire and contemporary designs.
