With 2026 labelled as the Analogue Year, it’s time you get yourself a hobby (if you haven’t got one already). The Hobby Potluck is a student-led initiative that aims to create a safe and friendly environment for you to explore and discover different types of hobbies, from tabletop gaming and photography to postcrossing.
Drawing inspiration from the potluck concept, the event has collaborated with six hobby groups and clubs in Singapore to share more about their interest and what they do, offering free workshops, demonstrations and activities for everyone to take part in. Nerd out and play a game of Dungeons and Dragons with GuildHall, or go on an inspiring photowalk with Singapore Weekend Photography. For the nature lovers, look out for booths by Nature Society Singapore and Cyan (The Untamed Paths).
If you already have a hobby that you love, fret not, because you’re included, too. There’ll be a common area where you can share your passion with others and connect with like-minded individuals. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends – because we all know how hard adulting can be.
