Time Out says

Get crafty at The Centrepoint's inaugural The Makers' Festival. Shop for handmade goods from Amy Handmade Ceramics, Tinta Shoppe and TeddyThotz as well as try your hand at crafting notebooks, clay miniatures and upcycled LED bottle lights at the Makers' Marketplace (Oct 7-10). Then hone your skills and find out more about local professional craftsmen at the workshops held at the Makers' Block (Oct 11-16). There you'll get to meet Lisa Teng, who makes leather shoes for a living, Marc Pelajaro, who constructs 3D holograms, and Bartholomew Ting, who'll be holding a workshop on making bear sculptures out of cardboard. The learning doesn't stop there as every weekend (from Oct 15) there'll be workshops ranging from cooking classes to leather crafting and wood printing.

Registration is required for workshops.
