The Story of Kong Ngee

The National Museum of Singapore is showcasing 15 Cantonese films made by the Kong Ngee Film Company as part of an exhibition entitled The Story of Kong Ngee. The films, which were all produced between 1950 and 1960, include the Nanyang Trilogy, and cover genres from detective mysteries to melodramas to romantic comedies.
