We've said it before and we'll say it again – Singapore is a great place to be. Every day, we have the pride and privilege of sharing the fantastic attractions, unique cultural experiences, vibrant parties, and unbeatable eating and drinking found in our tiny island city.
Inevitably, a handful of these establishments worm their way into our hearts – and into our list of Time Out Recommended venues. This year, we’ve landed on 400 shops, restaurants, bars, hawkers, and brands that we think everyone should know about (and visit). From Michelin-starred restaurants and time-honoured hawkers to quirky shops and independent art galleries, these are the places you’ll find the Time Out editors going back to time and again.
And because we love to hear from you, we carried out a Time Out Recommended Reader survey earlier this year to gather your choice haunts. You shared your favourite HDB coffeeshops, hole-in-the-wall cafés, beauty and wellness spots, and so much more. Our editors have taken a close look at your picks and narrowed them down into a new list of Readers’ Favourites.
We’ve sent our Time Out Recommended stickers to all 400 handpicked venues across the city. Next time you’re out and about, keep your eyes peeled for these to know that we’ve dropped by before and had an absolutely great experience. It’s our small token of recognition and gratitude to the great businesses that make Singapore awesome – and we hope, inspiration for you to head out and experience it all.
