Ever wondered what Singapore looks like through the eyes of those helping to care for our homes? In Unspoken Life, the latest exhibition at Objectifs - Centre for Photography and Film, discover the island-city from a different perspective: the lens of migrant domestic workers.
But more than simply documenting their experiences, the showcase aims to create a platform for the women behind the images to share their stories and journeys. The curated photographs offer a glimpse into their lives, revealing intimate moments, personal challenges and quiet triumphs that can easily go unnoticed in everyday life. Visitors are also invited to connect and hear from the creative voices at the three-day exhibition.
Unspoken Life is presented by Aidha, a Singapore-based non-profit that provides migrant domestic workers and lower-income women with financial education and self-development training programmes.
