Pop culture characters ranging from Uma Thurman in Kill Bill to Star Wars Ewoks to Napolean Dynamite sit side by side in the latest exhibition of painted skateboard decks from Sydney NeoPop artist Popheavy.
Taking place in the Citizen Wolf space behind the Route 66 store in Darlinghurst, Twelve Inch Deck features 15 limited edition pieces including Edward Scissorhands, Mr T, Chucky, Jack Nicholson in The Shining and Divine.
The artist describes his style as "a delicate mash-up of your fondest childhood memories and traumatic bed-wetting nightmares... I wanted to create a limited edition series that is super affordable so people can go home with something hung.”
