Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved tale of a cunning mouse’s lark through the woods has been adapted for the stage in a musical production arriving at the Opera House this December.
After selling out seasons in London’s West End and on Broadway, the show’s catchy tunes and winningly crafted sets will charm local audiences young and old. They’ll follow Mouse through the deep, scary woods, as she uses tales of a terrifying Gruffalo to ward off potential predators. Only she knows that the Gruffalo is a made-up, fantasy creature – or is it?
Selected shows will be relaxed, allowing for free movement during the performance, or AUSLAN-interpreted – check the Sydney Opera House for details.
