Time Out says

Grab your gal pals because Sydney’s fave indie girl group is sharing their newest work on their home turf

Body Type’s indie-rock sound is electric, if a little melancholic, and they’ve got some real Courtney Barnett vibes that will see them go far on Triple J’s charts and beyond into the alternative scene. The group have taken inspiration from the 'me too movement' along with religious iconography and animalistic imagery for the styling of their latest album EP2, which will be the focus of their Sydney show.

At the centrepiece of the album is haunting love-letter ‘Uma’, and earlier releases ‘Stingray’ and ‘Free to Air’. You’ll also hear older favourites like the slightly darker melody ‘Teeth’ and dreamy ‘Ludlow (Do You Believe In Karma?)’.

These alt-rockers are climbing ladders across the globe, having appeared in the US at Austin’s South by SouthWest, and ready to conquer the UK scene next, playing at festivals such as the Great Escape and Eastbound.
