Time Out says

LA's hardest working boy band comes to Sydney

Since their formation in 2015, 14-strong Texan collective Brockhampton have been challenging preconceived ideas what it means to be a boy band. It may be a term more associated with formulaic love songs and synchronised choreography, but Brockhampton insist that’s how they see themselves despite their music best being described as alternative hip hop. They’ve earned a reputation as extraordinarily prolific (they released three full-length albums last year) and a must-see live draw; they cover themselves head to toe in blue paint and, at other times, they all wear bulletproof vests with single-word slogans. Put simply: you don’t know what you’re going to get at a Brockhampton gig, and that’s what makes them so exciting.
