For the first time in the Southern Hemisphere, Spotify is bringing together some of your favourite acts for a free showcase of promising Aussie talent.
Front Left is Spotify’s way of introducing new local music creators to your ears and the live version will feature electronic, indie-rock and pop music makers with a line-up that rivals local music festivals.
Aussie producers Cosmo’s Midnight (‘Talk To Me’) lead the bill, supported by the energetic Baker Boy, who won the Spotify presented Best New Talent award at the National Indigenous Music Awards.
Brisbane’s Hatchie will be there too, with her cascading synths, jangling guitars and undeniable pop melodies. Kota Banks (‘Fiorentina’) will be joined by vocalist and recent Front Left playlist cover star CXLOE, whose current single ‘Show You’ is gaining traction.
We don’t know where the event will take place – they’re saying ‘inner-city location’ – and if you want to attend you need to register for the ticket ballot. If successful, you will be notified two weeks out from the event with the full venue details.
