Time Out says

Hear Snail Mail deliver the perfect soundtrack to the end of summer

Maryland teenager Lindsey Jordan, better known by her stage name, Snail Mail, was one of indie’s breakout stars of 2018. Her debut release, Lush, was named in several album of the year lists, and her deceptively simple yet precociously melodic sound earned her comparisons to bands from the Velvet Underground to Paramore.

She’s signed to Matador Records, home of Kurt Vile and Pavement amongst others, and her slightly woozy tunes, carrying the shimmer of late afternoon haze, prove she’s a worthy heir to those artists, as well as being the perfect soundtrack to the end of a lazy Sydney summer. Catch Snail Mail at Oxford Art Factory while you can, because it’s certain that Jordan will be gracing bigger venues once she’s in years to come.
