Head to Bondi’s new café wine bar serving breakfast by day and tapas and artisan wines by night. The focus here is on locally sourced seasonal and sustainable ingredients with gluten free and vegetarian options available. For breakfast, tuck into the smashed avocado and poached eggs with haloumi on sourdough, or if you’re after something sweet, try the rice flour pancakes with maple syrup, marscapone, berry compote and pistachios. Once the sun goes down, mains include grass fed beef (with parsnip puree, asparagus and portobello mushrooms), oven roasted duck breast, Junee lamb cutlets and more. Wash it all down with bio dynamic and organic wines, a house lychee margarita or a craft beer. Pop in for the lunch special and enjoy four tapas plates for $30 joined with two glasses of wine for an additional $10.
