If you’re not a festive fan of the tangled, sweaty Christmas shopping rush at Sydney’s mega malls, then this breezy rooftop market is for you. A tinsley host of local fashion designers, plant specialist, coffee pros, homewares creators and artists will be setting up on the rooftop of Paramount Recreation Club for a feel-good Xmas market.
As with many events at this wellbeing-focused venue, it’ll be all about slowing down and getting to know your neighbours, then happily stuffing stockings with local gifts. They’re getting ahead of the Chrissy rat race and hosting the Holiday Market well before the holidays on November 23.
As well as take-home gifts from brands like Open Objects, the Plant Society and Bear, there’ll also be eat-on-the-day snacks from Coffee Supreme and the Locals Market.
