Time Out says

Sport For Jove remount their award-winning 2013 production of Edmond Rostand’s poignant 1897 rom-com (popularised in the ’80s film Roxanne)

Damien Ryan won the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Direction and Best Production with this 2013 show, originally staged outdoors as part of Sport for Jove’s summer series.

Ryan himself takes the title role this time, playing the penultimate dandy, Cyrano – a man whose superlative intellect and refined taste is tragically undercut by his grotesquely large nose. Scott Sheridan will play Christian, the handsome but dumb protégé through whom Cyrano woes his cousin Roxane (played by Lizzie Schebesta).
