Elaine Welteroth is the youngest ever editor of Teen Vogue
Editor of Teen Vogue Elaine Welteroth has provided some of the most powerful political coverage of the last 12 months, changing the perception of the magazine as a solely fashion and beauty led glossy. She’s the youngest person to take on the role at the magazine and since she was appointed in 2016, Welteroth has delivered powerful political stories on US President Donald Trump to religious freedom and video posts from Native American women protesting the Dakota Access pipeline. She’ll speak to Slate editor-in-chief Julia Turner about why she’s taken this approach to her editorial direction.
