It's been a good while since we danced on one of Sydney's sticky club floors to aggressively flashing lights and the latest Cardi B bop. Honestly, we didn't expect to miss it so much – all of it, even the guy carrying five drinks through the dancefloor and spilling three-quarters of each of them on his way.
Now, Surry Hills cycling studio Cycology Club is bringing the atmosphere and techo beats of the Spanish party island to you. Under the guidance of your 'cycologist' (fitness instructor, natch), you'll be led through a high-powered choreographed spin workout set to the tunes of a live DJ, Levi Neufeld, who'll be on the decks in the class with you. Feel the rhythms and move your body to the music – it's kind of like a rave, except you'll feel fantastic after.
To keep the vibes going, you can hang out after for some Champagne, canapés and juices. Book in for a class at 9am, 10.15am or 11.30am. Each one goes for 45 minutes and costs $44. Book in here.
Cycology Club is following physical distancing and hygiene measures in the studio. You'll have to wear a mask on arrival, but you can take it off once you enter the class.
