Time Out says

Treat yourself to three days of yoga, meditation, and discourse to help reset your body and mind

Paramount Recreation Club, the rec club with the best rooftop views in Surry Hills, is teaming up with Melbourne-based meditation studio A-Space and activewear brand Lululemon to bring you a weekend of mindfulness activities, meditation, and workshops on May 24-26. After a successful collab last September focusing on mental health and awareness, this time around it's all about the connections we make with each other and ourselves.

The weekend starts on Friday night with the Conscious Connections Workshop, an intimate look at how we connect to others beyond the perfunctory friend request on social media. A-Space co-founder Manoj Dias will lead the class using speed dating mixed with Buddhist teachings. The aim is to help you make serious connections by opening up your authentic self. And if you make a friend or two, that’s a bonus.

Open to the community is a free mass meditation event, which will be held on Saturday afternoon, complete with live acoustic music during the class. The 90-minute session will see Dias lead ancient meditations to help foster a connection with yourself and others. Stick around after the session to partake in Discourse Dinner, a three-course meal with a side of meaningful discussion. Six questions on a rarely-discussed topic will be on the menu alongside alcohol-free cocktails from Seedlip, giving diners the opportunity to talk on a deeper level than your run-of-the-mill dinner chat.

Sleep Lab will round out the weekend – a workshop in yoga nidra, or sleep meditation. Join Dias as he leads a one-hour introductory class on how to access the place where your body and mind will experience true rest and relaxation. Spots are limited across all events so bookings are essential.
