There’s a new outdoor adventure expo made by and for women
Like to hike, camp, dive, glide or ski? Have two XX chromosomes? She Went Wild is claiming to be Australia’s first women’s adventure exhibition, giving ladies who like to do outdoor sports a place to shop for global brands like Solomon, CamelBak and Sea to Summit, who’ll have clothing and equipment to purchase on the day.
They’ll be workshops available, such as bike servicing, map reading, compass techniques, outdoor first aid, and an outdoor climbing. There’ll be talks from seasoned professionals, plus live music and food trucks to turn it into a mini festival at Precinct 75.
The expo is open to anyone (even men) and $5 from the ticket price will be donated to One Girl to help fund educational projects for young girls in Africa.
